  • dr vergne
    Janielle Vergne, D.V.M.

I felt a need to help animals ever since I would see them roaming the streets of Puerto Rico where I grew up. I wanted to pick up every one of them up, get them healthy, and find them homes. Being a veterinarian is and has always been my passion. I could not imagine myself doing anything else. I fulfilled my dream at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002.

AAHA

Our hospital is very proud of our status as an accredited member hospital of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). This prestigious accomplishment is achieved by submitting to thorough periodic inspections of all the different aspects of a veterinary office, including medical records, surgery, anesthesia, radiology, and hospital husbandry. Less than 15% of all animal hospitals in the United States can claim this honor, and it is a clear indication of quality and high standards in our profession.

AAHA

At South Federal Animal Hospital, we treat your pets like the valued family members they are.
